George and his wife Loretta Hidalgo Whitesides have been married for nearly 20 years and have two kids. George has spent his career solving problems. Over the past 20 years, he has helped lead NASA to new heights, created hundreds of quality jobs in the Antelope Valley, and supported front-line responders and public health through his work on the wildfire crisis. Now, he’s proud to represent the Antelope Valley, Santa Clarita Valley, and San Fernando Valley in Congress.

George is serving his first term as our representative in Washington, fighting to lower costs, create good-paying jobs, root out corruption, and help solve the wildfire crisis. He has already brought back millions in federal funding to improve our community’s health and safety, and has introduced bills to provide tax relief for residents impacted by environmental crises, address firefighter health standards and pay, make housing more available to our nation’s veterans, and make government work better for the people it represents.
